Stella Czajkowska, a polish pianist of Jewish origin (born 1923), living now in Sweden, tells her and her family’s story, marked by World War II. Fortunate coincidences saved her from certain death in Auschwitz, Stuthoffie and from a ship disaster. A gripping film illustrated by collages combining animation with archive materials and drawings. A document directed by Irek Dobrowolski (2010), based on a screenplay by Andrzej Bart.

The premiere took place in the Swedish Parliament on 20 January 2011, due to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on 27 January. The film was screened on the 12th Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival in Israel, twice during the Polish Film Festival in Chicago (2011) due to demands from the audience, and during KFF 2011 it opened the Panorama of Polish Film.
